Time to Change
I am an advocate for speaking out against the stigma attached to mental health. I have undertaken media training and subsequently been on several media outlets: Radio 4, Radio 1, BBC News Live.
My involvement with the campaign includes:
– The Department of Health’s Annual Wellbeing event on July 3rd 2013.
– Volunteer at the Time to Change “Village Fair” in Lewisham – August 2013.
– Participation in a small focus group between TTC, YoungMinds and Deputy PM Nick Clegg. We covered the issues arising in CAMHS and Adult Mental Health Services whilst also providing suggestions on how best to improve mental health services.
